# src/starkernel/math/

- `q48_16.c` — kernel-build copy of Q48.16 deterministic fixed-point
  arithmetic (implements `include/starkernel/q48_16.h`; kept as a
  freestanding copy separate from the hosted `src/math_portable.c` since
  the kernel build has no libc). See also `src/starkernel/vm/q48_stubs.c`
  for the double-conversion stubs used when floating point is unavailable.
